FREITAG IS BUYING USED TRUCK TARPAULINS


Since 1993, FREITAG lab. ag has been manufacturing bags and accessories in Zurich, Switzerland. Made from old truck tarpaulins, used seat belts and cycle inner tubes, our products have become a world success story.

YOUR BENEFITS
  1. We will collect the tarpaulin right away.
  2. Transportation will be arrange by us at our costs.
  3. You will receive a confirmation of the supplied quantity by colours and its assessed value after having received and cut your delivered tarpaulin.
  4. Your company name and logo will not be recognizable on the FREITAG bags.
  5. We guarantee that your tarpaulins will not be used for any other purposes nor will they be sold to third parties.


QUALITY
We are looking for already used second-hand tarpaulin material. The tarpaulin should be composed of a high-strength base fabric with a PVC coating. (600g/m2 to 900g/m2.) Dirt and tears are irrelevant for us.

Not usable:
  1. PCV coating that has been worn down to the fabric, meaning the tarpaulin is brittle or perished.
  2. Truck tarpaulins which are largely covered with adhesive foil.
  3. Boat covers, construction tarpaulins, container covers.
We reserve the right to deduct our expenses from the value of the delivered tarp, in case the supplied material is unusable for us.

PROCESS
  1. Do you have tarpaulins?
  2. Call us for an offer or send us an email.
  3. If you agree we confirm you the pick up of the tarpaulins.
  4. You put the tarps on a Pallet (maximum 600 kg per pallet). Our experience says that 4-5 pieces fit on one pallet. Please make sure that the truck tarpaulins are tied up properly for transportation.
  5. As we have several deliveries arriving every day, we ask you to add your name and address to every pallet.
  6. The goods will be picked up by our carrier.
  7. On arrival in Zurich the shipment will be weighted (= gross weight).
  8. The tarps will be checked and the edges and non-usable parts of the tarpaulin which don’t fit our quality standard will be cut.
  9. This gives us the net weight, which we sum up in a detailed list of colours and weight.
  10. You get a payment notice.
  11. We transfer the amount to the account indicated or you send us an invoice.
  12. We are happy to hear from you again.
