From the streets to the factory to the streets to the museum: FREITAG has been at the center of a monothematic exhibition at the Museum für Gestaltung in Zurich (MFG). Wow, it flatters us and our Recycled Individual Products (R.I.P). Even though we feel way too young for a retrospective. But we're still a little proud.

From 4th of april to 29th of july 2012, FREITAG was at the center of a monothematic exhibition at the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich (MfGZ). What a great honor! But it raised questions. Which FREITAG remnants should be shown in a museum? Which FREITAG products or actions deserve the F-Art label?

To answer this, the we disappeared for about six nights, 12 hours and 34 minutes in the subconscious FREITAG basement, where we found forgotten treasures, dust, and things we had pushed to the very back of our minds. We did no not always share the same opinion about what we found. But fortunately, we could rely on our assistant curator Dorothée Beerli to wisely sort it out.

«The time in the subconscious FREITAG basement was a flashback for us, where we found forgotten treasures, dust, and things we had pushed to the very back of our minds.»
