Twenty years after Markus and I gave new life to old truck tarps, FREITAG has created for itself an all-new, biodegradable textile, that is produced right here in Europe.

We are now exporting not only unique truck-tarp products but also the entire, enormous Swiss transit symbol – the Gotthard (the tunnel, not the band).

We already took a leap and opened our own stores with great success in far-off Tokyo and Berlin. It is only now, on our 20th birthday, that we are finally daring to take a leap into the nearby unknown – the French-speaking part of Switzerland.

Transforming used truck tarps into highly functional, unique bags takes place in five highly complex stages at the F-actory.
